The latest images, this week, from Sitima show our founder, Alice Davidson OBE and our Development Worker Irene Westbury along with project partner Fr. Owen O Donnell SMM, distributing sacks of maize to the outlying communities. Simon Flint our other volunteer is behind the lens but still very much involved. There will be further distributions later in the year along with some work to see if there are irrigation/agricultural projects which could help reduce the probability of future drought. N4BW is at its heart a development organisation and we are determined to lift local people from the cycle of disaster and poverty which blights their lives. Where there is immediate need, like in this case, we will also act quickly- with the support of our wonderful donors.
Thanks to all of those who donated to the appeal and to Simon and N4BW education volunteer Bridget Fenwick for motivating such support online.
