Andy Clark and his wife Mary are in Malawi to undertake research in the isolated settlements around Sitima parish - so that we have sold data and positive relationships to begin primary health, education and social support programmes over the coming years.
Today Andy writes:
'We arrived in Sitima on Saturday and were made to feel very
welcome. The area is situated just below the Zomba plateau which gives a
tremendous backdrop. Sitima is a very rural parish with mostly subsistence
farming. Tobacco is the main crop for export and Malawi is greatly
dependent on it for foreign investment! Today we are off to visit
families to gain greater insight into their lives.'
