N4BW Committee members Bill and Jackie Neale from Warwickshire visited our projects in Malawi in Autumn 2015 and saw first hand the needs of the people and the progress so far. They were able to return and brief the whole committee on what they saw and enable us to take some key decisions. They made time to undertake a bit of awareness training and some targeted distributions of items to the poorest families.
Three medical students from the University of East Anglia are working in Cambodia for a month this summer. N4BW members Mary and Andy Clark presented them with copies of "Where there is no doctor"- one in English and one in Khmer. As the two editions correspond page for page, they can be used to both train local health workers and to treat patients. The books were signed by Alice Davidson OBE, as gifts of Network for a Better World for the people of the Diocese of Battambang - which has many links with the Diocese of East Anglia in England.
